STROH Diamantwerkzeuge GmbH emerged from a family-run small business in the jewelry diamond grinding industry, located in the Rhine-Main region traditionally populated by diamond grinding companies. In 1965, the jewelry diamond grinding business was abandoned and converted to industrial diamond processing. Since that time, the company STROH Diamantwerkzeuge has accompanied a constant growth with continuous expansion of the tool range while maintaining the traditional manufacturing for diamond processing.

Every year, the company STROH Diamantwerkzeuge trains several commercial apprentices as cutting machine operators specializing in turning technology. In addition, industrial clerks are trained on a regular basis. It is our aim to take over all trainees after successful final examination into a permanent employment. Further training measures such as master craftsman, technical school or technical specialist training are promoted.

In addition, the company participates in the IS+I program (Engineering Studies + Industrial Practice) of the Technical University of Central Hesse. As part of this program, students of materials and manufacturing technology, as well as mechanical engineering, are given the opportunity to gain practical experience in projects during their studies.
